IIT Remote Center for Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) at SLRTCE: Empowering Teachers with Quality Training and Best Practices

At SLRTCE, we recognize the importance of continuous learning and development for our faculty members. To facilitate this, we have partnered with IIT Bombay as an approved remote center for their Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).

Through the T10kT project, supported by the National Mission on Education through ICT, IIT Bombay offers high-quality training and orientation programs for teachers. As an approved remote center, SLRTCE faculty members have access to these programs, which enable them to learn about advances in their domains and best practices for facilitating effective learning.

The use of online and blended approaches in these programs allows participants to complete a significant portion of the training online, reducing the time required for face-to-face synchronous interaction. The Faculty Development Programs are now conducted under the aegis of the Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching, approved by AICTE.

SLRTCE faculty members have actively participated in various FDPs conducted by IIT Bombay and IITK, including topics such as “Outcome Based Education”, “Engineering Mechanics”, “Introduction to Control Systems”, “Big Data Analytics”, and “Introduction to Programming using Python”, among others.

Our partnership with IIT Bombay is just one of the many initiatives we have in place to ensure that our faculty members are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to provide our students with the best possible learning experience. Join us at SLRTCE and be a part of our commitment to continuous improvement and development.
