Vision & Mission
Instructions for Shortlisted Candidates:
Shortlisted candidates are required to prepare a short research proposal (5-12 pages, Word document) and a PowerPoint presentation to present to the interview panel.
Steps for Selected Candidates:
- Fee Payment:
Admission Fees –Rs.50,000/ (Fifty Thousand rupees) per Academic year.
- Document Submission: The selected candidate must submit one set of photocopies and the original documents of:
- M.E. mark sheet and degree certificate
- B.E. mark sheet and degree certificate
- Hard copy of the brief research proposal (5-15 pages, Word document)
- Passport-size photographs (4 copies)
- Last leaving certificate
- If M.E. is completed from a university other than the University of Mumbai, an eligibility certificate and migration certificate will be required. *
- If there is a name change after marriage, four attested photocopies of the marriage certificate. *
- Caste certificate, caste validity certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate, as applicable (OBC, ST, SC, NT, EWS, etc.).
Important:* These documents can be produced later.
Note:
- Application Submission: Applications must be received within 15 days from the date of the advertisement’s publication. Late submissions will not be considered.
- Interview Date: The date of the interview will be displayed on the official website soon. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates.
- Document Verification: Candidates are required to submit ORIGINAL documents for verification during the admission process. Ensure all necessary documents are readily available.
- Admission Deadline:
- Shortlisted candidates must secure their admission within 7 days from the date of the admission notification.
- Failure to secure admission within this period will result in the admission offer being extended to waitlisted candidates.
- Fee Refund Policy:
- No refund of fees will be issued in the event of cancellation after securing admission to the Ph.D. program.
- Candidates are advised to consider their decision carefully before securing admission to avoid any inconvenience.
