Eligibility Criteria

Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering (SLRTCE) is the ideal destination for students seeking a top-notch engineering college in Mumbai to pursue their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree. To be eligible for this program at SLRTCE, students must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. The Admissions in First Year Engineering, Direct Second Year Engineering and Post Graduate Engineering Courses shall be done as per the norms/guidelines stipulated in the Notification of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fees) Act, 2015 issued by the Higher & Technical Education Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai for Academic Year 2022-23 and from time to time.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Eligibility Criteria for admissions in First Year Engineering Courses, Direct Second Year Engineering Courses and Post-Graduation Engineering (ME) Courses will be strictly followed as directed/ decided by the Higher & Technical Education Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, Directorate of Technical Education-Maharashtra state, Mumbai and University of Mumbai.

Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate :

The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Secured minimum 45 % marks (minimum 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability – candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects added together.

Eligibility Criteria for All India Candidates (Maharashtra & OMS) :

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Secured minimum 45 % marks (minimum 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability – candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects added together.

  • Non-Creamy Layer (This Certificate should be valid up to 31st March 2017 for VJ / DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC & OBC
  • Performa-A, Performa-B, Performa-G1, Performa-G2 required for Type of candidate-C, D, E respectively as mentioned on DTE (MH) brochure (If applicable)
  • Necessary certificates required for type of Candidate Def-1, Def-2, Def-3, and Physical Handicapped students. J & K migrant candidates, economically weaker section as mentioned in DTE (MH) Brochure (If applicable)
  • Undertaking regarding Interim Fees of Rs 100/- on non-judicial stamp paper duly notarized (format should be produced at admission counter)

5 Type D Candidates Certificate from the employer in the proforma B stating that the father / mother of the candidate who is a Maharashtra State Government / Maharashtra State Government undertaking employee or undertaking along with documentary evidence from the retired employee stating the place of settlement.
