Admission & Eligibility Criteria

The Admissions in First Year Engineering, Direct Second Year Engineering and Post Graduate Engineering Courses shall be done as per the norms/guidelines stipulated in the Notification of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fees) Act, 2015 issued by the Higher & Technical Education Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai for Academic Year 2022-23 and from time to time.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Eligibility Criteria for admissions in First Year Engineering Courses, Direct Second Year Engineering Courses and Post-Graduation Engineering (ME) Courses will be strictly followed as directed/ decided by the Higher & Technical Education Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, Directorate of Technical Education-Maharashtra state, Mumbai and University of Mumbai.

Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate :

The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Secured minimum 45 % marks (minimum 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability – candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects added together.

Eligibility Criteria for All India Candidates (Maharashtra & OMS) :

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Secured minimum 45 % marks (minimum 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability – candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects added together.
  • CAP Admission Seat Allotment Letter from the D.T.E (MH)
  • Photocopy of Facilitation Centre registration.
  • MHT-CET / JEE Main Score card for current year.
  • Mark sheet of SSC (Std. X) examination.
  • Mark sheet of HSC (Std. XII) examination
  • College Leaving Certificate.
  • Domicile Certificate of candidate (ifapplicable).
  • Migration Certificate (In case of candidate passing qualifying exam from any other Board other than Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education)
  • Gap certificate on stamp paper of Rs.20/- duly notarized (This is for those candidates who have passed HSC / 12th standard in March 2020 or before and presently not studying in any course / institution)
  • Caste Certificate for Reserved Category Candidates
  • Caste Validity Certificate for SC / ST / VJ / DT, (NT-A) (NT-B) (NT –C) (NT-D) / OBC / SBC
  • Non-Creamy Layer (This Certificate should be valid up to 31st March 2017 for VJ / DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC & OBC
  • Performa-A, Performa-B, Performa-G1, Performa-G2 required for Type of candidate-C, D, E respectively as mentioned on DTE (MH) brochure (If applicable)
  • Necessary certificates required for type of Candidate Def-1, Def-2, Def-3, and Physical Handicapped students. J & K migrant candidates, economically weaker section as mentioned in DTE (MH) Brochure (If applicable)
  • Undertaking regarding Interim Fees of Rs 100/- on non-judicial stamp paper duly notarized (format should be produced at admission counter)
  • Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner
  • AICTE Anti-Ragging Undertaking by student as well as Parents on Rs. 20/- non-Judicial stamp paper
  • Aadhar Card ( Photocopy )
  • Photocopy of Facilitation Centre registration
  • MHT-CET / JEE Main Score card for current year
  • Mark sheet of SSC (Std. X) examination

3 Type-B Candidates Domicile certificate of candidate/father/mother of candidate indicating that he/she is domicile in the State of Maharashtra.
4 Type C Candidates Certificate from the employer in the proforma-A stating that the father/mother of the candidate who is a central Government / Government of India undertaking employee is presently posted in Maharashtra.
5 Type D Candidates Certificate from the employer in the proforma B stating that the father / mother of the candidate who is a Maharashtra State Government / Maharashtra State Government undertaking employee or undertaking along with documentary evidence from the retired employee stating the place of settlement.
6 Type E Candidates 1. Certificate stating that candidate belong to the Maharashtra Karnataka disputed border area in proforma G1
2.Certificate stating that the mother tongue of the candidate is Marathi in proforma G2

10 TFWS candidates Income certificate stating that his/her parent’s annual income is less than Rs. 8 Lakh from all sources issued by the appropriate Competent Authority of the Maharashtra State
