Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering plays an important role in almost every sphere of our life. It has penetrated the modern era of our existence. It mainly deals with the communication technologies along with the basic electronic components, design of circuits and systems. The Electronics and Telecommunication department is established with well-equipped laboratories and research facilities. These laboratories provide a platform for learning not only theory but also practical aspects of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analogue and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.

Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering offers a four year undergraduate and postgraduate program in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is affiliated to University of Mumbai, approved by AICTE and recognized by DTE, Maharashtra.
