IoT and Embedded

The Internet of Things  and Embedded Club (Under Student Welfare and Development Committee) which revolves mostly around IoT& Embedded systems. This is an initiative taken to encourage students in IoT& other related fields.

Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging technology that allows establishing a network with devices and systems to connect and exchange data using the internet. The IoT-enabled products are equipped with processing ability, sensors, software, and other technologies for data exchange.

Aim and Objectives

The Club shall have the following objectives:

• Provide awareness to the faculties and students about the cutting edge technologies in the area of IoT.
• Promote and support enthusiastic students for the development of IoT applications.
• The main motto of this club is to help students gain more practical knowledge through some hands on sessions, projects and Seminars.
• To let students work and learn about various hardware like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Node MCU, Sensors, Actuators etc. and gain new skills
• Host some guest lectures by the Club Coordinators from the institute or other organizations which can help students understand the industry level Aspect and current progress.
• To represent the college through the club in any technical event.

Scope

• Through the activities on this club, students would get connected with research institutes and industries.
• Can develop product which may give good market value.
• Good assistance on research may always give good number of research papers and innovations which can be patented.

Outcome

• Create entrepreneurs, who can do their business especially on IoT applications targeting on healthcare, home automations, office automations, irrigation etc.
• Build IoT product which may give good market value.
