IIRS-ISRO Outreach Program at SLRTCE: Enhancing Knowledge and Skills in Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics

SLRTCE is proud to be associated with Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), a premier training and educational institute under Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India. The IIRS Outreach Programme aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of academia and user segments in space technology and its applications, particularly in the field of Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics and GPS Technology for Natural Resources, Environmental and Disaster Management.

Through the use of online learning platforms such as EDUSAT, the IIRS Outreach Programme offers live and interactive as well as e-learning modes of content delivery. SLRTCE is listed as one of the nodal centers to conduct online courses offered by IIRS-ISRO Dehradun, with more than 100 registrations for over 10 courses already received.

By participating in these courses, SLRTCE students and faculty members can enhance their skills in areas such as satellite remote sensing, geoinformatics, digital image processing, global navigation satellite systems, and more. This will help them to gain a deeper understanding of these technologies and their applications in natural resources management, environmental studies, disaster management and other related fields.

By partnering with IIRS-ISRO, SLRTCE aims to promote a culture of innovation and excellence in space technology education and research. This collaboration will help to create a strong pool of trained professionals who can contribute to the development of the nation and society as a whole.

Join the IIRS-ISRO Outreach Programme at SLRTCE today and take the first step towards a bright and successful career in the field of space technology and its applications.
