Edunet Foundation: Bridging the Academia-Industry Divide and Enhancing Employability

Established in 2015, the Edunet Foundation is a social enterprise dedicated to closing the gap between academia and industry in India. Its mission is to enhance student employability, foster innovation, and cultivate an entrepreneurial environment. The organization leverages cutting-edge technologies to improve the educational ecosystem and empower individuals to actively contribute to society. Edunet Foundation’s primary objective is to equip the workforce with the skills needed for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) and future challenges.

Programs Offered by Edunet Foundation:

One of the flagship programs offered by the Edunet Foundation is IBM Skills Build – Job Seekers. This e-skilling platform is developed by IBM and tailored for learners in engineering, vocational, job-seeking, and educator domains. The platform provides personalized learning paths, digital badges, and shareable certificates. Through experiential learning and real-life projects in collaboration with industry bodies, learners can acquire essential emerging tech and future skills at their own pace and convenience. Edunet Foundation partners with Skills Build to facilitate learning for participants across relevant domains.

Collaboration with Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering:

In a move to support students’ holistic development, the Edunet Foundation and Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering forged a collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on February 23, 2023. This collaboration is aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, emphasizing multiperspective-driven education, career-based learning, and education that extends beyond traditional classroom boundaries. The MOU signing ceremony included Smt. Krishna Tiwari Ma’am, Joint Secretary for Rahul Education, and Mr. Utsav Tiwari Sir, COO for Rahul Education. Additionally, Edunet Foundation Director, Ashish Arora Sir, and Dr. Deven Shah, Principal of Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering, and Dr. Umesh Bhadade, Vice Principal of Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering, were present. Through this collaboration, students will gain essential skills and competencies necessary for success in the workplace and entrepreneurship.
