Objectives:

Placement:

  • Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry-specific events.
  • Provide training sessions on resume building, interview skills, and professional etiquette.
  • Offer career counseling to help students identify their strengths, interests, and career goals.

Higher Education Guidance:

  • Offer guidance on selecting suitable postgraduate programs, both domestic and international.
  • Provide information on entrance exams, application processes, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Buddy system to pair students with local or experienced peers to provide guidance, support, and companionship. 
  • Assist students in preparing application materials, such as statements of purpose and recommendation letters.

Internship Opportunities:

  • Forge partnerships with companies, startups, research institutions, and NGOs to offer diverse internship opportunities.
  • Encourage students to pursue internships aligned with their academic interests and career aspirations.

Entrepreneurship Support:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance on business ideation, validation, and planning.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures by successful entrepreneurs and industry experts.
  • Host pitch competitions, hackathons, and incubation programs to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

Incorporating industry connections through Consultancy is a valuable addition to the services offered by the career development cell (CDC) at SLRTCE. By integrating consultancy services into the CDC, SLRTCE creates a dynamic learning environment that prepares students for careers in consulting, entrepreneurship, and industry leadership roles. Moreover, consultancy projects offer a practical and experiential learning opportunity for students to apply their engineering knowledge, problem-solving skills, and creativity to real-world challenges while making valuable contributions to the industry. Very successful method of joint mentoring by Industry and Faculty and execution by students.
