There are two ways to apply.
Apply to Centralized Admission Process(CAP) administered by State CET Cell. Through this process, 100% seats of Govt & Govt-Aided colleges and 80% seats of un-aided colleges are filled.
Alternatively one can apply to un-aided college/s for 20% Institute level Quota (This quota is wrongly termed as Management Quota). For this quota, candidate will apply to various colleges separately in which he/she is interested for admission. Shree L. R. Tiwari College of Engineering is an un-aided Institute.
Admission process for Institute Level Quota seats shall begin as soon as State CET Cell /DTE announces admission rules and calendar.

Maharashtra State has high number of seats for engineering admissions and chances of getting admission are 100%. College and course may depend on your choice as well as choices exercised by higher merit students. One may visit www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in for last year’s cut off details. A word of caution here, please note that it may not be very correct to compare last year and current year’s scenario. Candidate should make his/her own choice without getting influenced by other factors.

However, Students taking admission through CAP quota seats shall only be eligible for Government scholarship/freeship schemes available for various categories.

List of all documents and self-attested copies required shall be displayed on our website(www.slrtce.in). Candidate needs to submit original certificates and self-attested copies at the time of admission.
You can get a certificate from Principal of other college giving details of documents deposited there. Once admission formality at our college is completed, you can bring those documents within 2 days and submit to us.
The fee is to be paid at the time of admission.
The fee is annual. It is approved by Fees Regulating Authority appointed by Maharashtra State.
Part-payment is not acceptable. For securing admission one will have to pay the total fee applicable.
All branches of engineering are good. Each stream has very good prospects. There are ample opportunities in every field.
Every field needs good candidates. Hence, one having good knowledge and passion definitely succeeds irrespective of branch/course of study.
After applying and getting a valid score in GATE
- You can get admission to pursue Masters’s degree.
- You can get recruitment in governmental organizations like HPCL, BHEL, ONGC, etc
