Human Values and Ethics
A course on Human Values and Ethics (Odd Semester)
Students of Third Year Engineering (all branches) are oriented towards basic etiquette and ethical
behaviour through activities conducted under the Business Communication and Ethics Course in
Semester V. The students are arranged in smaller groups and a Student Coordinator is assigned for
each group. The teachers assigned to conduct the course, act as mentors and strive towards
continuous and on-going development of each student right up to Final year.
Objectives of the Course
- To generate the spirit of team building.
- To provide training in basic etiquette in various situations
- To enhance competency in inter-personal skills.
- To develop problem solving ability and conflict resolution techniques.
- To help students imbibe important values towards society.
- To analyze the strategies used for sustainability
- To develop good communication skills and share views openly.
- To encourage students to participate actively in Seminars/Workshops/Programs
