Shree L R Tiwari College of Engineering was established in 2010 by Rahul Education Society. SLRTCE offers UG programs in 6 streams (Computer, IT, Electronics and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical and Civil) and PG is 2 streams (Computer and Electronics & Telecommunication). Admissions to these courses are provided on the basis of respective entrance exams and candidate’s merit in last qualifying examinations.

The institute also provides its students with decent infrastructural facilities and highly experienced faculty members. The classrooms and labs of the college are best-in-class, well equipped and sophisticated. The labs are regularly upgraded in order to stay advanced. The Training and Placement Cell plays a significant role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduates passing out from the college. Training and Placement department incessantly works hard throughout the year to train the students so as to make them employable. The department has designed training courses at various levels for soft skills training programs, employability enhancement training, campus recruitment training, English Speaking training etc. For this, they remain in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell operates to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. Result is, the number of students placed through the campus interviews is continuously increasing. Recently college have signed MoU with IBM which will conduct theoretical as well practical sessions of students which will enhance their technical knowledge which can improve their better placement possibilities. In 2019, one of the students of SLRTCE got placed in Google UK with the package of 1.2 Crore.

Furthermore SLRTCE gives utmost importance to Intra-mural and Extra mural activities for the holistic development of the students. The College strives to develop technical, professional skills and individual values in its students that help to create foundation for their success. Many students participated and won sports on University, State Level and represented on National Level sport activities. Many students participated in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like Go carting, face painting, robotic war, project competitions on University, State and National Level and won prizes. For fostering the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity among the students and even faculties, Incubation Centre, Innovation Cell, Entrepreneurship Development Cell have been hosted by the institute. Language Lab of the institute exclusively takes care of the students’ communication skills and helps the students to speak fluently in English.
