Laboratory facilities are essential components of education and research, providing students

equipped with specialized instruments, equipment, and resources that allow students to apply
theoretical knowledge gained in classrooms to real-world experiments and projects. These
facilities not only enhance learning but also foster curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation

Boys Hostel
The Institute has a Boys Hostel with comprehensive residential facilities, making the hostel an ideal second home for students. Basic amenities such as aqua guard for drinking water, four meals a day, 24×7 Wi-Fi connectivity and 24×7 electricity and water supply are provided.
Leisure is important, so access to the TV room and sports activities within the hostel premises help in good recreation. Other aspects such as a medical unit, security guards and burglar alarm system as well as landline phone for emergency/paid calls are included to ensure maximum security and care for the students.
NSS Room
Room no 511 is dedicated for NSS activities, here we conduct various NSS activities ,Skit and Street play preparations, meetings, pre camp preparation ,Diary filling and pre selection rounds of NSS volunteers for various university level competitions . We keep NSS related deadstock in the same room.
Girls Common room
A girls’ common room with comfortable seating arrangement is open to all girl students of the college. It includes a water cooler as well as a dressing corner with essentials, toiletries and a huge mirror. The girl students spend fruitful time reading books, newspapers and other educational material. Various indoor games are played right from table tennis to carrom. The room is well maintained and kept under supervision. This room is used for rest and recreation activities along with interaction in the form of discussions.
Girls Common room
A well-equipped boys’ Common Room is available for social gathering and recreation. Students spend quality time enriching their mind by reading current affairs from newspapers and magazines, playing indoor games and engaging in group discussions. The room is openly available to students and maintained well. Students maintain hygiene and use the facilities responsibly.

- Drinking Water Supply : Drinking water facility is available at all the floors. Separate toilet facility is available on each floor for boys and girls.
- Conference Room : Fully equipped conference facilities are available in the campus. Hall can accommodate large number of attendees in air conditioned comfort. The audio visual facilities are digitally enhanced and designed for effective presentations with excellent auditory reception.
- Transport Facility : Very cosy, comfortable and convenient transport facilities are provided at affordable cost to the students who are day scholars and travel daily to the campus. Luxurious buses are available from Mira Road Station that pick and drop faculty members / students to and from.
- Safety Provision including fire and other calamities : Fire Safety is vital in maintaining a safe learning and working environment at SLRTCE College. SLRTCE have been designed with up-to-date fire warning systems and fire suppression systems.Laboratory safety- Laboratory safety begins with the employees and students working in the labs. Safety is each individual’s responsibility. SLRTCE College is dedicated to developing safety programs that protect each person in the laboratories and the environment.
- Vehicle parking : Two, wheelers four wheelers parking is available for students as well as staff.
- Banking and ATM facilities : Our institute is associated with two/three bankers for quick disbursement of loan of the students with minimum rate of interest.The SLRTCE maintains its accounts with the leading nationalized bank. ATM facility for the Students and faculty are available about a few minutes’ walk from the campus.
- CCTV Security System : The College has installed Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) for the safety of staff, students and visitors and the protection of property and buildings. This requires areas of the college to be under 24 hour recorded CCTV surveillance.
- LCD Projectors in classroom : Our classrooms are well ventilated spacious, equipped with overhead and LCD projectors along with public address system with proper arrangements of Laptop power supply.
- Facilities for the physically challenged : Facilities are available for physically challenged person. Facilities like Wheelchair, Lift etc.
- Food court : SLRTCE Institutions has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. The canteen is provided with modern furniture and electrical automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provides hot lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates.
- Cleaning/Janitorial Services : Restrooms and classrooms in the Engineering Center are cleaned every day. Conference rooms are cleaned twice per week; trash cans in offices are emptied once a week. Laboratories: Trash cans are emptied twice per week. Laboratory floors also are cleaned every day.
- Internet & Wi-fi : The SLRTCE campus has been interconnected through Wired as well as Wireless (Wi-Fi) Networks. The facilities provide access to internet, intranet, and institution based e-mail. With this infrastructure, the students of SLRTCE have access to all e-learning materials related to academics. In addition, online access to various reference books, journals, international papers has also been made available for the benefit of students.
- Backup Electric Supply : In case of power failure backup facility is provided to Server Room and CCTV.
e-yantra Lab
SLRTCE has successfully set up e-Yantra Lab in collaboration with IIT, Bombay. This initiative aims to create the next generation of embedded system engineers with a practical outlook to provide pragmatic solutions to some of the real world problems. The programme is sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD) under the National Mission on Education through Innovative Classroom Teacher (ICT) programme. e-Yantra Lab setup initiative (eLSI) is a college level programme under which colleges are encouraged to set up robotic labs.
