Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department organised one day Industrial visit to VEETEK Plastic at Tirupati Udyog Nagar, Sativali road, Vasai (East), Thane. Students saw different machines used to manufacture plastics, to print papers, to make CNC and also how water purifiers are made. First visit started with the plastic printing machines and in that part students saw how to manufacture plastic products from the raw material like Abs etc. students also saw various moulds to manufacture plastic of the shape and size depending on the moulds .while manufacturing of plastic raw materials are inserted and heating of raw material is done and finally it is inserted inside the nozzle which press the heated raw material inside the mould in the specific temperature of front part ,middle part and back part. Students also saw machines to print any information on the plastic materials. Then students saw how to manufacture water purifiers and what are the requirements for it like UV chamber, choke etc. Then students moved towards paper printing machines and there students came across a machine known as ‘Heidelberg Speedmaster ’ which is used to print information on papers and the machine consisted of six parts . Also students saw how the measurements are adjusted while cutting a paper in a machine. Finally students saw how actually the dye (moulds) is made and also the software in which the structure of the dye was designed and later used for the manufacturing purpose. In this way students learnt many informative things and new machines used for manufacturing process in our Industrial Visit.
