HOD - Message

The Humanities and Applied Sciences Department has a significant aim to lay a strong, concrete and sound foundation for the First Year students, which is necessary for them to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems and prepare for higher studies. 

Visualization of an abstract idea or concept, before giving it a form or structure, is an exercise that the department wishes to put to practice, to develop cognitive abilities of young minds. The curriculum basically acts as an interface between science and technology and explores common foundations of language.

The department has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members with strong   commitment to engineering education and professional ethics. Together, we strive to produce technocrats, who can contribute productively to the world of technology.
