| Content of the activity : | Go-kart seminars can be a great way for go-kart enthusiasts to learn from expert seniors in the field and get inspiration for their own go-karting projects. The seminar was a huge success, and the participants & faculty members appreciated the efforts of Team Vortex in organizing such an informative and engaging session. The participants left the seminar with a greater understanding and appreciation of the sport of Go-Kart racing |

Go-Cart 2018-19
The VORTEX GT Team of Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering (SLRTCE), Mira road (E), Thane, successfully built a sleek and Stylish Manual Go-kart with Jockey Shifter.
The Team of 22 students from S.E, T.E. & B.E Mechanical Department was further divided into 7 groups that managed separate department of Reports, Innovation, Business plan, Transmission, Chassis, Brakes and Steering in the making of the Kart. Team got selected for Final Round which will was conducted at BIC (BUDDH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT), which was organized by ISNEE–‘Indian Society Of New Era Engineers’.
EVENT REPORT
Our team of 15 students have successfully designed and manufactured 150cc Racing Car.
We have successfully qualified all the event for the first time in 3 years of our Go-Kart journey. We have achieved AIR-19 in the 6thGKDC competition, amongst 120 teams registered for the 150cc category.

GLIMPSE OF 2019’
Go-cart Design 2017-18
The L.R.T VORTEX 2.0 Team of Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering (SLRTCE),Mira road (E), Thane, successfully built a sleek and Stylish Manual Go-kart with Jockey Shifter. The Team of 14 students from T.E. & B.E Mechanical Students was further divided into 4 groups that managed seperate department of Transmission, Chassis, Brakes and Steering in the making of the Kart. Our Team passed with 350 points in the virtual round and gaining 16th Rank. Being one of the 98 teams that were selected out of 190 teams, they further participated im the main competition of ISNEE at KariMotor Speedway, Coimbatore, in February 2018
Go-Kart Design 2016-17
The L.R.T VORTEX Team of Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering (SLRTCE), Mira road (E), Thane, successfully built a sleek and Stylish Manual Go-kart with paddle shifter. The Team of 14 students from T.E Mechanical Engineering students was further divided into 4 groups that managed separate department of Transmission, Chassis, Brakes and Steering in the making of the Kart. Our Team participated for two events i.e. NKRC (NAGPUR) AND GKDC (COIMBATORE) .We were qualified for endurance race and gained 19th rank in GKDC and 67th rank in NKRC. NKRC was held at in October 2016 and GKDC was held at KARI MOTORS SPEEDWAY, COIMBATORE. In February 2017.
